A pre-launch startup is looking to hire an experienced and strong front-end web / interface designer. You must have strong expertise and passion for building highly addictive consumer Internet websites and interfaces.
This is an opportunity to get involved at the ground floor of a startup with experienced startup veterans. You will be joining a team of motivated and driven professionals that are efficient and good at what they do, and we expect the same from you.

The following are the specific job requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in front-end website, UI, UX design preferably for a fast moving consumer Internet startup or interactive agency with lots of experience working with startups.
- 4+ years in design tool suite such as Adobe
- 4+ Years HTML/CSS
- Javascript / Ajax / Ruby on Rails a plus
- Proficient working with back-end developers on integration
- Extremely detail-oriented and organized
- Strong visual design skills, layout, and typography
- Ability to create designs that work across platforms and web browsers.
- Experience working with marketing to design engaging banner ads and emails a plus
- Ability to wireframe quickly
- Experience working on a small rapidbly iterating team. We are Rails shop and are culturally infused with principals of "Getting Real".
- Cognizant of e-commerce conversion optimization principals and leveraging analytics for actionable data a plus
- Cognizant of modern SEO principals a plus
